The District of Columbia, Health Professional Licensing Administration is pleased to offer license/registration holders the opportunity to verify initial application status and renew professional licenses/ registrations via our secure MyLicense website. Initial Applicants: You may check the status of your application once it has been received. To view the status of your application, please follow the instructions below: Register by entering your SSN & Last Name Log-In by entering the User ID and Password created during the registration process Once you have logged in click the "View Checklist" link located in the bottom left corner of the Licenses/Registration window. License Renewals: License/ Registration Types that may renew online at this time are: RNs and APRNs: Begining February 1, 2012 Pharmaceutical Detailers: Begining December 1, 2011 Veterinary Examiners: Begining October 1, 2011 Psychologists: Begining October 1, 2011. Dentists and Dental Hygienists: Begining October 1, 2011. PLEASE NOTE: Online Renewal Payments can be made by: Visa MasterCard NOTE: Paid Inactive Requests: To request your license to be placed on Paid Inactive status, you must complete a paper renewal. Contact the customer service department at 202-724-4900 or 202-724-8800. New Users: You must register to select a User ID and Password. In order to uniquely identify yourself to register to use our online application, please enter in the following information: Your SSN Your last name (as it appears on your application/ renewal notice or Weblookup) System Requirements: The Online Renewal and Physician Profile processes require the use of Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
